Two Row's Oatmeal Stout is black in color with a short, quickly fading head. Aroma is a nice combination of oatmeal sweetness and dark roasted malts. Taste is very roasty with a nice accompanying oatmeal sweetness. The roastiness may be just a bit high for the style, however this doesn't hurt the overall flavor of the beer. Drinkability is high, I imagine this is one of the better choices at Two Rows.

Pour is black with a creamy tan head. Nose is malt, mostly pungent like an Imperial stout.
Taste is of roasted malt with petroleum. Earthy, oily taste, dry and rich. I would call it closer to an Imperial stout than the oatmeal stout style. Mellows a bit as it warms.
