On draught at Two Rows on Greenville Ave in Dallas.
Appearance: Dark amber color, no head to speak of.
Aroma: slight sweet caramel-like aroma.
Flavor/Body: Fairly sweet malt, no noticible wheat flavor (despite the fact it says that over half the grain bill is from wheat). Lacks any interesting esters or phenols, or any good toasty malt flavors. Decent body, medium carbonation.
Did they serve me the right beer? This tastes more like an average brewpub brown ale than a weizenbock. Very average and uninteresting beer.
