Dark black color with a good half-inch head of frothy white foam. Aroma? what aroma? maybe just a hint of malt. Decent roasted malt flavor with moderately high bitterness. A bit more of a stout than a porter, though the styles are similar enough that it's hard to say. Body is thin, watery.
Two Rows Greenville's brewing standards seem to have declined recently. They used to could be counted on for solid if not exactly inspired beers. All four different beers I had this trip were disappointing, including the hefeweizen which I used to think was the best brewpub hefe in Texas. On the other hand, they were only a dollar apiece (wednesday special).

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
