First had: on tap at their brewpub
I liked it. Poured a golden brown color with just a small layer of white bubbles for a head. Simple aroma, toasty, bready malts, sweet caramel. Similar in the taste, sweet malty profile, caramel, and just a tad bit of mild hoppiness for a decent balance of flavors, naturally leaning more towards the malty side. Medium body, simple, but enjoyable.

It is as if every Octoberfest beer has the same details. This one is no different. Beautiful amber colour, hardly a head, but left a light lacing. The initial taste is a light mouthfeel, more or less a typical Bavarian lager. This is a 2-time Great American Beer Fest medal winner. This brew is also cold conditioned for a full 30 days!

Nothing too special here. The low point of the Stewart's beers I sampled at the Kennett Brewfest. Poured a dark gold, and there did not seem to be much in the nose at all. I could only pick up a faint toasted malt aroma. Grainy, bready flavors in the middle...this brew needs to be picked up with some additional malty goodness. Lacking in flavor. After sampling their pale ale, I know they are capable of better.
