Caber Tossing...a traditional Scottish throwing event much akin to a javelin throw but the javelins are telephone poles and the Scottsmen hold the poles from the bottom, run, and throw.
Appears a hazy, dark mahogany with a light reddish brown bottom. A small, ligh tan head slowly fades into a mild cap and collar.
Smell is of caramel, a touch of wheat, malt, toffee, nuts, mild amounts of fruit, and vanilla.
Taste is of the same aromas with a decent malty, nuts, and toffee with the vanilla cream subdued.
Mouthfeel is full bodied, spritzy, perhaps a shade of over-volumed CO2 with a carbonation sting near the front of the tongue. A mild sour bite rubbing the sides of the tongue, which gently leads to a wild finish. The finish is dry but with a slow creep of sugar that slowly draws out from the front of the tongue and lingers.
