Had on tap at Stewart's. Review from notes.

A: Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head, no retention at all. A very thin ring forms on top. Lots of bubbles released from the bottom.

S: Sweet aroma, some candied sugar, a little bit of biscuit malt and a faint grassy aroma underneath.

T: Similar to the aroma with plenty of candied sugar giving a rather sweet flavor. Rather malty with a little more biscuit and graham cracker. The hops are rather faint with slight grassy and citrus flavors.

M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation. ABV hidden very well.

O: Liked this one a lot. Easy drinking with a very nice sweet flavor to it.

I had this on tap at the brewpub last night. The brew was presented in a standard pint glass, pale, clear yellow in color with a moderate white head. The aroma was a bit grainy, -slightly sweet. The flavor had a bigger hop profile than I expected. The brew had a bitter up front hop presence that mellowed out nicely. The beer was medium bodied and went well with my steak. Overall a solid beer.

Served on-tap @ brewpub.

A- Nice copper color with a light head and a slight hazy when examed. Very nice looking beer.

Smell- Mostly malt, but with a nice hoppy undertone. Enjoyed the air of this beer; it smell it more than I usually do for sampling.

T- This beer was great. The beer had a good balance of the malt and a fair amount of hops to check the sweetness.

M- A medium mouthfeel. Enjoyed the feel of this beer. The malt does come forward, but easy.

D- This beer changes some of the my feelings towards maibocks. The few I have had in the past did not agree with my tastes. This combination of malt and hops gave me a very enjoyable experience. Will try to have again before it is gone for the season!
