I had this on-tap at lunch today. It was served in a standard pint glass, deep chocolate in color with a slight, fleeting white head. The aroma was deep with sweet bread notes. The flavor has lots of sweet caramel and dark fruits with a very pleasant finish. The beer was on the thin side for a doppelbock, but the carbonation and hidden alcohol made it very drinkable. A solid example of the style.
