I really enjoyed this bad boy. Had it the other day with my apple pie.
Smells like fresh roasted coffee.
Poured a clear black with a small head that dissapeared quickly.
Tasted liked coffee, with hint of hops at the end.
Decently carbonated, slightly watery in the mouthfeel.
Nice drinkability, though I can only handle so much coffee.
Based on other reviews, some people believe that it is just too much coffee. But this what I have been looking for, a coffee beer that smacks you with coffee taste. If they could get some malt flavor in there, thicken the mouthfeel, and keep the profile this beer might be perfect. To me at least.

On-tap at the brewpub.
A- Rich black color with light oatmeal head that goes quickly.
S- Coffee, coffee, coffee.
T- Alot of coffee and kind of light on the beer side. The coffee element is the strongest flavor followed by a light porter taste. Not much malt flavor and no hops to speak of, but still tasty if you are a coffee nut as well as a beer nut.
M- Very light. Not heavy at all and goes down very easy.
D- Most beer folks would say this beer is a coffee drink due to its heavy taste, but I like the changeup of this beer. It does have a little kick(5.6%) and has a taste I enjoy. Another seasonal winner from Stewarts

Massive fresh coffee aroma. Black with a decent head. Ok this is good, but yeesh it tastes like iced coffee MORE than it does beer. There is no ale malt base here it is coffee with alcohol. Too much of a good thing here really. Needs a little more beer in it.

Never mind beer, if you want to try this, you have to be a fan of coffee. Black in color with not much of a head. Aroma is coffee and the taste is...coffee. OK, so it's not the most complex tasting beer, but as a fan of coffee, I really enjoyed this one. I'm sure there is a group of people out there who would love this beer just because the coffee flavor is so intense. Luckily, I'm part of that group. Not everyone will like it, but everyone should try it.

This beer just sounds interesting, and I am thankful I managed to score a sample for myself. Pours thick and black, though I did not get much of a head on it. What was there was thin and an appealing tan color. The nose is a killer. It's as if I stuck my nose into a filter of spent coffee grounds. Wow! Never have I had a beer that smelled like this before.
Mouthfeel is right on...rich, smooth, and creamy. Complexity is very high as well, considering the aroma is coffee-dominated. Flavors of coffee (obviously) mix with bitter dark chocolates and roasted hazlenuts. This is a delicious, highly complex porter. Extremely well done. If you hate coffee, you most likely will not enjoy this beer. I loved it! A very unique offering, and highly recommended.
