500 mL bottle, capped, BBE date on label. Purchased in Würzburg, Germany. Labels says it is brewed according to the recipe of Brauerei Heil, Tückelhausen.
This pils poured a very clear, light gold color with pillowy white foam that persisted and clung to the glass in places, and with a good, steady carbonation from the bottom of the glass. The smell was bready malt. The taste was hoppy with good hop bitterness balanced by bready malt (slightly sweet). The mouthfeel was smooth and crisp with medium-light body and good carbonation. It was fairly clean, overall. This was a nice, refreshing, light pils.
