Hannover Co-Op NH.

Great example of this style. Completely enjoyed this beer. Excellent carbonation yields a nice creamy head. Have had this beer on tap in Wurzburg years ago and this is a true represenation. Would like to try the Dunkel - heard their pilsner not bad as well

This beer has a nice strong weizen aroma. It is sweet and clove like with some candy and fruit tones. It has a golden pale color with a lot of carbonation. The flavor is mainly of wheat but has little of some sweetness and biscuit flavors. Just like anything from this brand that I have tried it is good. The mouthfeel is almost a medium but I would go with the high end of light with some bite.

Beer bottle (50cl), tasted in 2004.

Appearance : clear golden color, with a huge white foamy head.
Smell : wheat, cloves and vanilla aromas.
Taste and mouthfeel : wheat-malty, fruity and slightly yeasty, with a sweet finish.
Drinkability : a very good beer in the German Kristall weizen style.
