I don't see a date listed on the bottle or label.
Appearance: The body is a medium-dark golden brown color. It has a light bit of haze in the glass. The head is white and short with a slightly creamy textured top. It has good retention.
Aroma: It has a slight mineral aroma. There is a light scent of what smells like allspice.
Taste: There is a light bit of what tastes like allspice at first, then some cinnamon comes through. Towards the end there is a light bit of sweet caramelized brown sugar and cookie crust. It develops a slightly nutty flavor the more it is consumed.
Mouthfeel: It is smooth and easy to drink with a medium body and a mild bitterness that seems to stem from the spices.
Overall: The label states that this is "AN OKTOBERFEST STYLE BEER WITH PUMPKIN SPICES." These flavors seem to clash with each other. The Oktoberfest flavors seem good but the pumpkin pie spices don't mesh well. It's still a decent beer but I would recommend drinking St. George's regular Oktoberfest and some other Pumpkin Beer separately. I probably wouldn't drink it again but it's certainly not a bad beer overall.

12 oz bottle. Not too much pumpkin, but pleasant seasonal flavor, and very enjoyable.

12 oz bottle in a glass
A - Sort of an orange rust color, not cloudy, but with a slight haze; a sea foam head; noticable carbonation
S - Mild spices and citrus but with a scent of a beer that sat out over night
T - I didn't get the fall spice taste that I expected; the foam and carbonation made me feel like I was taking hits from a keg; I also didn't care for the bitter aftertaste that lingered;
F - A bit thin, but with a healthy supply of carbonation, as though the keg got overpumped
O - Pretty disappointing and not up there with the better Pumpkin Ales or other fall beers; not recommended; it's a good thing this was a single brew; hopefully next year's recipe will change and see improvement. I had no interest in finishing the bottle.

One of the better pumpkin ales I have had this year. Pours a light pumpkin clear color. Aroma is of a piece of pumpkin pie, wow!!. Head and lacing are ok. Taste is really good, just like pumpkin pie. The carbonation is definitely present but adds that something special to this brew. The spices are somewhat subdued and that is nice that they are not overpowering. Overall, greatly balanced, light and a job well done by St. George!!
