Look: Opaque, not unlike a schwartzbier or even a porter, with a lace of carbonation.
Smell: Some sweet caramel and toffee notes; nicely malted. Cutting through this was a metallic odor which originated from the can (disappointing). Update: it eventually dissipated after a few minutes of aeration.
Taste: Resembles a dry, hoppy schwartzbier, minus some of the body.
Feel: Perfectly carbonated with some lingering bitterness, but not overwhelmingly so.
Overall: Nicely done; drinkable but not predictable. Probably best suited for a fall evening around a fire pit.
