Poured on-tap and served in a shaker, the beer is unfiltered, with an opaque, pale, creamy yellow coloring and a ring of film on the surface. Aromas of bread and toasted grains, with lemon highlights and hints of all spice. Very muted nose. Flavors are smooth and balanced, with a banana bread and citrus backbone and some all spice and clove highlights. The spicing remains subtle, only as an accent. The tart citrus of lemon and orange ring more strongly into the aftertaste. Steady flow of carbonation throughout, keeping this one light in mouth. Smooth, clean finish, with a touch of effervescence to lighten everything up.
