Stopped by on the way to Mt. Washington, wasn't planned but a traffic backup from the raised bridge had us make an impromptu stop, I certainly wasn't complaining :)
Pours a mahogany-like color with a small head, not much lacing along the glass.
Smell is all malt, bit of a caramel hint, but mostly dark roasted malt.
Taste has a perfect level of carbonation, the roasted malt is the show, a one-note show though.
Not a bad brown ale, just not a very interesting one, maybe if it was a bit nutter, at least there's plenty of other excellent brews to get at Brays.
