Deep dark black color, creamy thick tan head. Big thick bubbles slowly poking through the head. Really a great looking beer. Taste was alot of roasted toffee, and mild chocolate tastes. Lacked any thick sweet oatmeal malt taste that makes the big boys so good.(Young's and Samuel Smith) A bit thinner than I expected as well. The taste didn't match the appearance. A thin, watery finish as well. Could be a really good beer.
