Served as part of a sample tray at their brewpub. Beer poured a deep and clear golden orange color and had a pretty decent foamy head. This one has a distinctive toasted aroma and flavor that really gives this beer a nice mellow flavor. Some toffee like qualities, too. There’s a small citrus hop presence, but maybe is lacking in that aspect. Somewhat bitter, clean and drinkable. Not a bad pale ale at all.
