The beer pours a very pale gold color with a spotty white lace head. The aroma is decent. It boasts of pale malts. It has little hop aroma, but is quite grainy to the nose. The taste is good. It has a pale malt palate that is a bit watery and bitter. It has a nice hop flavor that makes up for the lack of malt character. The mouthfeel is good. It is a low bodied beer with good carbonation. It drinks well for a light beer. I really like this beer.

A staple of the Black Rock's lineup - for those making the transition from macros to micros no doubt. A light, enjoyable beer with a bite at the end of it. Certain hints of citrus, nearly lemon contrast with the dryness at the back of the palate. Maybe not a first rank beer but eminently enjoyable, esp during the summer.

Served as part of a sample tray at their brewpub. Very light, carbonated and clear. The head was a white covering of foam. Here is another buttery light beer. Is this Diacetyl? I dont know. I know lagers shouldnt have this in the taste, but I dont think it harms the beer. I like it. It gives it a little body and a little flavor. Overall, the beer is nice and goes down smooth. Some sour graininess with a slight hop aroma. Finishes clean and slightly bitter with a small citrus tang. Not bad.
