The beer pours a dark golden color with a thin white lace head. The aroma is good. It has a rich malty feel along with a piney hop scent. The taste is also good. It has good balance of hops ands malts. It finishes dry and slightly bitter, but goes down with ease. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a medium bodied beer with good carbonation. This is a great drinking beer. I wish I could get this in bottles.

Served as part of a sample tray at their brewpub. Poured out slightly hazy golden orange color with small foamy white head. The aroma is all hops and really comes out when the beer is tipped and sipped. Strong lemon/lime with a spruce or pine scent to it. This is an earthy pale ale. The body is sweet with malty grains and the two pair well perfectly. The finish is dry and crisp and leaves a pleasant bitter tang on the tongue. They didnt hold back with this beer and I commend them for it. Very good.

Pours into the glass a copper/gold color. The head is white in color and seems to last. There is some lace present. In the aroma, nothing seems to jump out and be dominate. There are hints of citrus, hops and malt (sweet). The flavor is fresh, clean, crisp. The first thing you notice are the hops and the sweet malt, and this is carried to the last sip. A good beer for people who wish to try micro-beers.

Clear, deep golden color with copper highlights. Foamy off-white head that holds well. The aroma offers a bright, but restrained, citrusy/earthy hoppiness that allows some sweet malt to get through as well. The body is medium and it has a great mouthfeel. The flavor starts with clean, sweet malt leading into a gentle hop flavor, and following with a dry but not overtly bitter finish. Exceptionally well balanced. This is not a "hit you over the head" pale; rather, it's the kind of beer that teases you throughout the entire pint! The kind of beer that you drink without realizing; then pick up your empty glass and say 'Hey, who took my beer?!' Very well done.
