The citrusy, floral hops are right out front. No hint of earthiness or sticky, piney hops. This was a brilliant brew, especially for their first IIPA. I had this alongside Stone's double dry-hopped IPA, double dry-hopped Ruination, Ruination 10th Anniversary and Sublimely Self Righteous black IPA and it held its own. Honestly, I can say that I preferred this beer over most of the Stone IPAs and that is saying a LOT. I loved their original IPA, Rainy Day, but this is just a few steps higher on the awesome scale.
