Bottle states this is 6%. Pours a darker golden yellow than most beers of this style. Good flavor, passable for it being free at an airport lounge in Warsaw. Classic Czech malt flavor and easy to drink.

Really beautiful deep golden colour. Dry, lightly hoppy aroma.

Hops is powerful, tastes really organic. Quite sweet malt but the hops creates a perfect bitterness. Really impressive pilsner, so good that I'm going to buy another one. More German style than Czech in my opinion. Smooth and silky mouth feel.

Really impressive pilsner and amazing value also. Tastes healthy and pure.

Poured from a brown 16.9 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is sweet, malty. Taste is malts, grains, bready, some honey. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an easy drinking beer. A little different than I expect from the style, but still pretty good.

Described by the brewery as a Bohemian Pilsner.
Looks like a duplicate with the other Zwierzyniec Pils entry, there seem to be 2 versions, one for export (5%) and another for Poland (6%).

Deep brassy gold color, sharp clarity, dense layer of foam, visible carbonation.
Aroma of honeyed biscuity malt, slight papery note of oxidation.
Taste is crisp and lightly crackery, honey biscuity taste. Clean without any off flavors, not very hoppy.
Light and airy, finishes dry with minimal sweetness.

Overall it's a decent lager, no great shakes. Didn't really notice the 3 varieties of hops used, or the result of the double decoction mash method. It washed down some hop shoot pizza pretty well.

It wins an award for longest unpronounceable single-word beer name.
The name means "zoo" and there are a pair of jumping antelope on it.

First I've ever seen this one, and there are a ton of Polish beers in our area these days (lots of immigrants). No clear dating to be found on the brown, 16.9 oz. bottle.

L -- Pours a clear, straw to gold color with a sudsy, dense white head that holds up well. Great for a Pilsner.

S -- Big DMS of the "fresh" aroma -- almost too sea shore-like, and no malt or hops. After the head settles you get more bready to almost caramel malt character -- still no hops.

T -- Sweet, doughy malt flavor up front. I equate this malt character with most of the Polish and eastern-European to Russian light lagers I usually try. It's a sweetness that borders on lack of attenuation that often doesn't finish clean, but this one just avoids that. However, no real hop character at all, except the lightest bitterness in the finish, so the sweetness really stands out.

F -- Soft and smooth mouthfeel with a light to medium-light body.

O -- I wish I knew what the Poles expected in their Pilsners or other Light Lagers -- for all I know this is exactly their style. But to me it's a rather lacking beer and *very* lacking for a Pilsner of any style when there is no hop character at all.

Well! Hwere is something I like to talk about- a pils in a brown bottle. metter98 did a quite comprehensive review, but I did not notice the "corn adjuncts".
This beer scores a solid 5 for me as to what I prefer in a beer; not overpowering in any measure in any way, but plenty of body and taste.
Polish beers, I am told, tend to be fashioned after British beers, which were popular at the time Polish breweries
were being established. This seems to hold true with this beer- bready, flavorful, bubbly, and above all- drinkable. Now, is that not what we are all here in search of?
Overall, tasty, drinkable, enjoyable; refreshing! And this beer does not become disgusting as it warms to room temperature, unlike the American brands I have had to throw out when slightly warmed. I rate this high because it is a prototype of the Pils type from Poland.

Zwierzyniec has a very thick, white head, a mostly clear, bubbly, golden appearance, lots of white, powdery sediment throughout, and splotchy lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, rich barley malt, honey, and yeast. Taste is of those elements, with mild bitterness and a touch of paper. Mouthfeel is light to medium with slickness, and Zwierzyniec finishes crisp and refreshing.

A: The beer is crystal clear light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head that died down rather quickly, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of bready malts are present in the nose along with faint hints of grassy hops.
T: The taste has flavors of bready malts and slight bits of sweetness and corn adjuncts. Only weak amounts of bitterness are perceptible.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied on the palate and is a little clean with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite easy to drink. The bready aromas and flavors are nice, but there's a little too much sweetness and not enough bitterness.
