Served on tap at the OBBS brew pub. Dark brown, dense color. No light gets through on the glass. Not much of a head since it was served in an ice-cold pint glass.. Some lacing gets left on the glass.
Strong flavor of malt and coffee. Very smooth and rich flavor. Goes down real easy. I could have swore the menu said 6% abv but I checked on other beer sites and saw 7.4%. 7.4 seems more accurate based on the reaction to 2 pints!!!!. The alcohol is well hidden...a good rich malty stout.
