Poured on-tap at the brewery in a shaker pint, the beer is a very dark brown coloring, with a thin, low profile, tan head. Noses of very subtle chocolate and caramel, rich and sweet. Flavors are roasted coffee and bittersweet chocolate forward, with a smoke highlight, and some subtle cream notes. Smooth and dry in mouth, with a roasted and slightly smoked mocha aftertaste. Smooth, dry finish, with a bitter roast linger. Not bad.
