Appearance: Deep dark brown in color with a nice 1" head. Nice lacing coats the glass.

Smell: very mild as only some soft roasted malts were detecable.

Taste: light roasted malts, dark chocolate, molasses, light bitterness, and hints of nuts made up a very nicely flavored porter.

Mouthfeel: medium in body, while the mouthfeel was mildly crisp at the start with a smooth, lightly dry finish. Flavor tones lasted well into aftertaste.

Drinkability: very easy drinking porter. Recommend this one over the stout if you only have time for one pint.

I had this on tap at the brewery

Arrives a (too cold!) very dark, but not opaque, mahogany/brown, with a nice 1 finger head of beige foam. Head sticks around for @ 5 minutes, then vanishes. No lacing.

Aroma is of dark chocolate, slight cherries, molasses, pleasant, herbal hops in the background. Maybe slight diacetyl.

Although too cold, this is a decent porter. Light, chocolatey malts, dark sugar, nice level of bitterness, herbal/spicy hops, and a slightly tannic aftertaste.

Medium sweetness, medium carbonation, and a medium length finish, kind of tart and dry.

This is an ok porter, overall. I personally like more, but this is drinkable. Recommended.
