Appearance: Clear orange / copper in color with a 1" head that slowly receded. Mild lacing develops.
Smell: floral hops and sweet caramel.
Taste: leaned towards a pale ale category, but the 20% rye that was used was very evident. Caramel, orange citrus, and a very floral hop bitterness rounds it out.
Mouthfeel: medium body brew. The mouthfeel was crisp at the start and finish.
Drinkability: superb drinkability. This is a very well done and flavorful beer, so if it is on tap you must try one.

I had this on tap at the brewery
Arrives a (too cold!) nice, slightly hazy (chill haze, duh) orange with a 1/2 finger off-white/beige head of tight foam. Drops in a few minutes to islands and a ring. Minimal lacing. Carbonation evident.
This has a good, spicy aroma; light toffee apples, grassy/spicy hops, and rye malt. Inviting.
The first flavor is light malt sweetness, followed by a good bitterness and spicy rye malt and hops. This is a refreshing, clean, well made beer.
Mouthfeel is clean, crisp, with a good carbonation tingle on the tongue and a long, tart finish.
A pounder with a difference. The rye definitely adds a little something extra. Recommended. OBBS adds another good beer to their list.
