The beer arrived at the table medium golden amber with a long lasting white head which lasted well to lace the glass.
The aroma was malty with a strong caramel presence and a strong citrusy and piney aromatic with some toffee.
The flavor was strong toffee and caramel with a bit too much diacetyl. The hops in the flavor were muted but contained a piney and resinous presence.
The finish was even heading toward dry with caramel and diacetyl lasting far too long into the aftertaste. The body was medium. This one was not that great.
