**HAD THIS AS HURLY BURLY BROWN
A thick brown body with a small tan head. Faint sweet malt aroma with some outright sugary smells and a hint of maple or molasses. Smooth and creamy, this beer has a good syrupy sweet malt taste as I make out candy and brown sugar along with some nutty, bready notes. Hints of figs and a little bit of fruitiness from minor hops in the back. Has a good balance and doesn't get bogged down in the mouth at anytime and is a good session beer.

"Spicy, nutty, creamy, easy-drinking brown ale brewed with, roasted wheat, crystal malts, and dry hopped with Mt. Hood and Saaz hops."
Served on draft into a 6oz glass. Nice coloring. Milk chocolate in color with some nice ruby/maroon highlights. Slightly tanned head of about one inch with nice retention. No lacing.
Aroma was very nutty. Plenty of hazelnut and almond aromas bouncing off the nose. Not much hop presence but I definitely dig the nuttiness.
Nice nutty flavor as well but a very distinct sourness and a bit of acridity. Kind of a puckering bitterness not associated with hops but more associated with off flavoring. Slightly sweet yet sour.
Not a very good beer. Luckily, I only had the sampler size of this because a full pint would have been too much. Not very good.
