Sampled at Brewgrass '08
I'd probably want to call this a "Singel" rather than a "Dubbel," but that's not an option...
Appearance: Light bronze/golden tan, with thin white lace.
Aroma: Could be more pronounced. Honeycomb, malt, with a slight clove/allspice hint.
Taste: Sweetly nice. Pleasant hop balance; a malty finish with a hoppy twist.
Palate: Snappy and fun.
Overall: Surprisingly good -- the first brew I've had from the Outer Banks folks. I'm impressed!
