Pours out of a tall can with a sweet dark orange color with lots of streaming bubbles and bubbles sticking to the side of the glass. The head is a nice retentive bone white that leaves some very nice lacing down the glass.

Smell is a hoppy citrus nasal bomb. There is even some mustiness coming through.

Taste is a sweet malty beer with a nice hop presence. There is some citrus coming through as well. However there was a bit of a strange metallic taste in the background.

Mouth borders on medium with a pretty dry finish.

Overall this is a nice citrus IPA. With more folks making these citrus IPA's it seems as if there are a lot of choices for someone looking for a bit of citrus with their IPA. Horny Goat brings a nice offering to the table for those seeking a citrus IPA. With 69 IBU's and a 6.8% ABV this may be what you were looking for.

I was disappointed in their Hopped Up + Horny IPA, tho I loved their sense of humor, and agree with the sentiment. Happens to me all the time. This beer is one of the better fruit infused IPAs I've tasted, and is better than its BA reviews.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a wine glass.

Appearance: A bright orange color with a small white head with fat bubbles that lasts but only laces a tad.
S: Very big citrus aroma with a hop backdrop. Tingly and inviting. Original.
Taste: Just the right balance of tangerine juice mixed with hops. Some fresh cut wet wood, palm hearts, citrus candy.
Feel: A medium bodied beer with lots of carbonation. Despite the juiice, offers a dry finish.
Overall: One of the best fruit beers I have ever had, up there with fruit sculpins.

L: Pours a translucent light rose gold with a white two finger head that recedes slowly. Decent lacing.

S: The smell is not overly impressive to me. There is definitely some tangerine in there but it almost smells like peaches too. Like the ripe ones that come in a can. Hops come through too but mildly.

T: Taste is a mild hop/tangerine/peach as well. There is a big citrus aftertaste in here too. It's very drinkable for a 6.8 and not boozy at all. A fairly sweet beer.

F: Well balanced carbonation with a wet finish.

Overall this was a nice one to try but it wouldn't be a go to for me. It would be great for someone not into beer as it's very sweet and fruity (as expected of course).

The color looks thick, almost orange, slightly transparent but not completely. The head was formed thick with beautiful lacing and it stuck around to party didn't die down to quickly. Smelled briefly hoppie with a ninja citrus smell that just sunk in there on ya. Wasn't the most pungent beer I have smelled as of late. It felt think in my mouth neither the hops or the citrus was overwhelming nor were they as intense as I wanted. The overall feel was fantastic but lacked in the department of flavor and intensity of said flavor.

A thanks to the commander of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of light tangerine, litle else. Taste is tangerine peels, grapefruit, light bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, lacks the hop punch I expect from this style, but still is a pretty good beer.

Loved this one at first taste, but became a little too sweet by the end. More like a radler. Sweet citrus and floral hops, finishes with a hint of bitter. The sweetness became just a little too much to continue with another at that time though.

Would drink again: Yes
Would purchase again: No
