From a twelve ounce brown bottle this beer pours a hazy amber color with a medium-sized off-white head. The aroma is heavy with vanilla bean scents, along with some woody boozy notes. The taste is similar, with plenty of bourbon and vanilla notes. There is also notable chocolate and some sweetness. Medium-full in body. Interesting, but not at all like a traditional stout.
