Poured from a pint can bought in Texas.

Looks like used motor oil in the glass, with a massive brown head. Aromas of molasses, brown sugar and a bit of smoke, with just a hint of herbal hops. Flavors of coffee, roasted grain and herbal hops, but there is not a lot of depth or complexity to them. Heavy body leaves the mouth coated; low but creamy carbonation. Medium to high hops bitterness and sizable alcohol heat. This is a big, roasty stout with no flaws, but it lacks in some of the depth of the greatest examples.

Canned 12/11/24. Drank 4/18/25.

Pour is jet black with a big, sort of fizzy tight cap of deep cinnamon colored head. Really a beautiful stout. Retention and lacing aren't great - fades to a ring around the glass
Nose is big, roasty, dark chocolate, coffee notes, toasted bread, a bit ashy
Taste is a wonderful mix of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, ashy, leather, tobacco, toasted bread. Balanced nicely, doesn't get too sweet. Dry roasty finish.
Full bodied, creamy, chewy without being too thick/sweet

This is a great Imperial Stout. Just good ol' classic stout flavor profile. No crazy sweetness. Very easy to drink and enjoy.

Pours a dark brown almost black with khaki colored head, very viscous as well. Roasted malts, raw cocoa, dark chocolate, and some coffee on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a bittersweet note similar to unsweetened dark cocoa. Nice.
