Pours a clear, golden in color with hints of copper and a decent amount of frothy, white foam atop. Head retention is average and there is lacing on the glass as you drink. Very prominent aroma. Floral with blueberry, grape some citrus and a bit of earthiness. It's a very pleasant smell, overall, if a bit "soapy". For how strong the aroma is, the flavor is actually quite subdued, but it is rather true to the smell. A blend of floral, grassy hops, a hint of fruitiness and some herbal spice balanced out by a roasted, cereal and oat maltiness. Finishes crisp and dry with a lingering grassy, cereal flavor. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with very zesty carbonation, comes off a tad bit thin. Overall, not exactly what I was expecting. This reviewed followed the review of a much hoppier brew, which made the flavor profile of this one a bit underwhelming. That said, I do appreciate the balance as I expected it to be a bit more hop-forward. This was quite drinkable and refreshing, although perhaps a bit floral for my taste. Nonetheless, another solid brew from 512.

On tap at Siphon Coffee (Houston, TX), served in a shaker pint. Faintly hazy golden yellow with a small depth of white foam that leaves fine spots of lace. Mild aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, breakfast cereal and slight dank notes. Clean flavor with citrus, candied stone fruit, spare biscuit malt and crisp, herbal bitter finish. Light to medium body and moderate carbonation. Unspectacular, but a thoroughly drinkable, refreshing IPA.
