Served on tap in a pint glass.
Appearance – The beer is served a light brown color with a tiny head of just off-white foam. The head fades fast leaving a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strongest of a lightly orated malt smell mixed with some cocoa and caramel. Along with these smells comes a touch of toffee and brown sugar.
Taste – The taste is heaviest o a caramel malt and light cocoa flavor mixed with some lightly toasted malt and a bit of toffee. These flavors create a base taste and are joined by some light herbal and citrus hop as well as a little bit of a brown sugar. The flavor mix takes the taste to its end and leaves one with a lightly toasted and somewhat more malty taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is moderate. For the style, abv, and tastes, the feel is good and makes for an easy sipper.
Overall – An alright Bock. Easy drinking and flavorful, but nothing super exceptional.

Pours a lovely deep amber in color with hints of cherry and caramel. On the pour, there's about a finger of off-white foam on top which dissipates to a thin layer over time. There is some lacing on the glass as you drink. Pretty spot on for the style.

Aroma is toasty rye bread, dark fruits, hazelnut and some floral, citrusy hops. A lovely floral bouquet, and exactly what I was expecting.

Taste follows the aroma pretty well. The toasted malts definitely shine here, but they are balanced very nicely with a dark fruit and lemony hoppiness. The water really comes through as well, with a mineral water quality to it.

On the tongue, this one is smooth and a tiny bit zesty. It's medium bodied but a bit on the thin side of that. Finishes crisp but not overly dry. Quite refreshing and drinkable.

Grabbed this on a whim and glad I did, it really hit the spot. I think this is one of the more enjoyable bock's I've had lately. It's got enough flavor to be sipped, but enough drinkability to be sessioned. It's a perfect transition beer into the colder weather months and would pair nicely with a Thanksgiving meal. Very true to the style, while offering perhaps a bit more hoppiness than it's German counterparts. Another good one from 512, cheers!
