12oz bottled 5-4-22. Opened 9-16-22.
1 finger white head with good staying power. Golden body and bright clarity. Small bits of lace.
Soft perfumey nose of apricot, apple, floral, and a yeasty spice. Flavors of marmalade, apricot, honey, and spice. Medium body with a medium-plus carbonation and a dry finish. Very Good.

Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a deep brown color with a small head of dense tan colored foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a tiny bit of spider-web lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is very strong of a milk chocolate and roasted malt smell mixed with a bit of a latte like aroma of coffee milk and crème. Mixed with these aromas comes a nice vanilla marshmallow smell as well as some aromas of brown sugar and toffee. Biscuit and graham cracker aromas are there as well, creating a rich and smore dessert like aroma overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweet milk chocolate and vanilla marshmallow crème flavor mixed with some nice roasty malt and a touch of coffee with lots of creme. As a backbone there is a big sweetness of brown sugar and toffee as well as a rather persistent and consistent graham cracker flavor. As the taste advances the marshmallow gets stronger while the chocolate gets a bit lighter. At the same time there is a tiny bit of grain and a touch of smoke, that produce a very pleasant and rich smore taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is super thick and chewy with a carbonation level that is low. For the rich and dessert like nature of the brew the feel is fantastic, making for a very nice slow sipping dessert brew.
Overall – A very tasty dessert brew that is sweet and delicious, but not overwhelming. A fantastic dessert brew for a cooler day. Well worth a try.

Nice and clear golden ale. Head is white, but a bit thin for a Belgian ale. Not really rocky enough, and it fades quickly with no real lacing.

Nose is spicy, from both hops and yeast. A bit of pleasant graininess, some orangey citrus. There is a very minor sulfur fault on the nose as well. Pushing past that, I get some herbaceous hoppiness as well. Overall decent. If you let the head dissipate, then the sulfur fades as well. Get some caramel and vanilla at that point. But what is a tripel with no head?

The palate is nicely complex. The yeast is predominantly spice driven, but there is some banana expression as well. It's like a nicely spiced banana bread that has been spread with a thin layer of honey. It is delicious. The hops come through, but don't dominate, and primarily add a savory herbal quality that sits nicely with the banana bread theme. The arrival is spice and herb, with a sweet mid palate that fades into a dry, moderately bitter finish.

Carbonation is decent, but a bit low. Mouthfeel is appropriate for the style, about medium, with a dry finish.

Overall, a delicious beer, but it fails on some points for the category. Taste is bang on though.
