Poured into a 13 oz tulip glass out of a growler. My brother picked this up and the hostess said it was a wheat beer brewed with freshly grown hops and dry hopped during the process, wanted to call it a White IPA, but didn't give me that option. Pours a very attractive orange, with a one inch sticky white head, that leaves behind patches of lace.
Smell is earthy hops, orange, pinapple, clove, and some mild grapefruit.
Taste is much better and aggressive. Very floral upfront with some clove, orange, and pinapple and finishes with some grapefruit and vanilla. Sounds a bit strange, but it works. The grapefruit lingers on the tongue a solid minute after.
Body is medium anyway, plenty of lofe, maybe a little dry, and for 7.3% goes down very easy.
Overall this is an excellent beer, not sure what to classify it as, but another excellent brew from one of my favorite NH breweries.
