I stopped by The Goose on 27AUG19 after a super hike up/down nearby Mt Kearsarge. Had a couple of large snifters of this to slake my thirst. Was about a 15oz pour, at $6.50 per...
The snifter held a bier which was a deep, clear medium copper color. Had a thin, white, wispy head, mostly at the rim, with nice lace. Upon taking a few whiffs I got some sweetish fruit, like apricot and tangerine. Body was medium to medium-plus, with a pleasant feeling overall.
Taste had some light, toasty caramel, then more tangerine and apricot. Also had a bit of rindy action and pine. Was offering more sweetish fruit than bitterness, all in all. Quite flavorful and refreshing! Prosit!!
