Sampled on tap at the brewpub on July 5, 2011. The pour was a cloudy pale yellow with a thin head but pretty good lacing along the glass. The aroma character reminds me more of wheat. But also there is a decent maltiness and a little clove and pepper. The body is light to medium but also rather creamy. The flavor also more akin to a hefe but that may be the yeast drizzling in. There is also a sharp peppery ending and light hops but not as dry as promised. It worked for a 75-degree evening out at the Pub.
