Pitch black and a two-finger tan head. Good rings of lace, and the foam cap lasts through the whole session.
Definitely some roasted malt in the a aroma, but not much else.
Medium bodied with a punch of roasted malt. There is a day-old coffee flavor, like it came from reused grounds. Unfortunately the beer also tastes oxidized. Wet cardboard is very apparent in the middle. Good roasty and dry finish.
Not terrible, but the cardboard is off-putting. I will switch to something else.
