A full bodied stout with a mildly balanced sweet coffee and chocolate flavor. Oat and a high roast barley finish this beer making it toasty, dry and slightly sweet – like a satisfying cup of Jo. This beer is perfect for cozy campfire nights and star gazing.

Jet black body; thin yet dense and lasting head. Mild mocha aroma; a bit grain char. Milk chocolate flavor with some watery coffee notes; bitter; mild suggestion of vanilla. Medium-heavy body; slick and silky; some charred grain astringency but mostly sweet finish.

Not a bad stout, but not really delivering much coffee presence. There some good milk stout sweetness and feel to the beer.

Couldn't rate any of these categories less than 5. Well done. I did have the Nitro on tap though so that might be why they're such a high deviation. Strong coffee taste but so smooth the same time

Surprised by the reviews on this beer. The flavor is good, the "flavor bomb" addition give it a bitbof customization, too. Feels lighter than a lot of stouts, but surprisingly strong! Wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a fuller bodied, "milkier" stout, but has a great taste of coffee and oatmeal to satisfy most craving those flavors.

Poured a deep brown, almost black, with a thin lacing of tan on the surface. Overall impression of appearance is of a good stout that lacks quite a lot in head. Scents of soy sauce, toasted malt, sweet caramel and sticky molasses upfront, giving way to a background of sweet coffee with cream and dark roasted fresh ground coffee. A light charred wood aroma also permeates the nose. Overall impression of aroma is of a rather sweet stout with coffee in a supporting, rather than main role, as is the case with most coffee stouts. An interesting aroma profile, not the best coffee stout but not bad. Flavor begins sweet with notes of sweetened coffee with cream, light notes of caramel and touches of roast malt and charred wood. Middle gains flavors of fresh ground dark roast coffee at low levels mingling with the other flavors. Finish is lightly dry with notes of fresh ground dark roast coffee, roast malt, charred wood and sweetness reminiscent of coffee with cream and caramel. Aftertaste is of dark roasted fresh ground coffee, cream and roasted malt. Overall impression of flavor is again of a rather sweet stout, with the coffee being a supporting flavor, though it comes out nicely on the finish and in the aftertaste. A good, though not great, flavor profile. Mouthfeel is light bodied with low carbonation and a creamy feel. Overall impression of mouthfeel is of a more traditional sessionable stout, rather than the more robust stouts usually given the coffee treatment. Overall this is a fairly good coffee stout. While not the best example in any given quality it is still quite pleasant and nothing about it is bad. It is also priced quite reasonably for the quality. Recommended if you like stouts.

Pretty awful stuff, like gas station coffee mixed with cola-esque watery stout. And that's actually a bit harsh on gas station coffee, which I otherwise enjoy just fine. Über-thin, no body, no head, literally looks and feels like cola, with that poorly done coffee addition...this is just uninspired and, frankly, lazy.

Got this visiting the Grand Canyon. Not big, thin. Not big coffee, thin. Not very exciting. They had a few I wanted to try but they were out. Not bad, just not awsome.
