Double Fistin’ IPA is an imperial India pale ale fashioned after the Pacific Northwest’s heavily hopped, strong IPAs. Unique in the U.S., this style contains large amounts of Northwest hops imparting a bitter and flowery aromatic flavor. The hops used to create this hop-monster are Columbus and Cascade. In addition to heavy amounts of bittering and post-boil hops, this beer is also given a generous amount of dry- hops in the conditioning stage. The alcohol content is 7.2%. This beer is a signature beer of Rob Denton.

What a beer!!!! WOW...Just love it all around...Good as it gets!!!...I am very hesitant to give anything a 5 overall ,this is as close as I have ever had! It's like a Pakos times two. Hoppy smell, hoppy taste, bitter floral hops from the wonderful monster amount of northwest Columbus and Cascade hops used to brew it.Can't wait to go to Jackson and have a few more!

This pours a dark gold with a 2 finger head of foam. Lacing is good.
The smell is of grapefruit, some tropical fruit, and caramel malt.
The taste matches the smell. Nice balance of bitterness from the citrus, sweet notes from caramel malt and tropical fruit.
This is what I'd call a DIPA mild..lowish abv for the style which I could say causes it to lack the "zip" of stronger examples but, it sure is easy to drink. Nicely done.
