On tap at Toronado for Barleywine fest '09. Just adding my review from prior notes now to get my ticking stats up-to-date.
Copper color with a tan head and decent retention.
Aroma is malty with some hoppiness. Hop character is citrus more than anything else.
Flavor is sweet caramel malt, light fruits, solid hop bitterness, and alcohol.
Medium-full body with only a slight booziness and an average level of carbonation.
A little average for the style overall. Nothing offensive about it, but nothing too appealing.
