On tap at the tavern in the restaurant on May 21, 2013. I'm told the ABV this was a little over 4%.
The look is pale yellow with an unfiltered cloudiness and a thin white head.
The aroma is biscuit and bread along with light grainy malts.
The body is light to medium with a minor acidity that is noticeable but not terribly distracting.
The taste has a good pale malt and biscuit beginning with a crisp, clean light hop finish that lingers momentarily. Overall a pretty good session beer.

On tap at the source as part of a sampler. Comes to the table a cloudy medium gold color with a smallish off white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is dominated by toffee and butter with faint earthy hops that almost provide some balance to the malty sweetness. The flavor is lightly fruity with a dominant toffee and butter flavor as well as some light plastic phenols. Medium body with a light level of carbonation, and a sweet syrupy mouthfeel. English in style this beer reminds me of the extract based home brews that I used to taste back in the 90's, not very good at all.

Off the tap at the brewpub this beer was a hazy, golden color. The one-finger, white head retained only moderately and left so-so lacing. The aroma was bright with floral hops, citrus hops and light notes of wheat. The flavors were a little unusual, lemony citrus first followed by orange peel, doughy malt, light wheat and hints of bitterness in the finish. Crisp, summery, refreshing and balanced, a total session beer. The mouthfeel was watery though, the body light and the carbonation a little too low. It was not really what I think an Ale should be but it would be a good beer to wash down a meal with.
