Got this at the Barons Pub in the Mittersill Resort in Franconia NH
A: Pours a nice clear copper with a head the fades to a coating on the top with lacing on the side.
S: Caramel and malt with a slight hops aroma.
T: Malty and caramel with good hops flavor. Not over-powering. Nice hops aftertaste.
M: Light bodied. No bite from carbonation. Refreshing
O:A decent amber ale. I will try again next time I am up here.

On tap at the brewpub on May 21, 2013.
It is a nice looking copper-amber color with medium clarity and a lingering off-white head.
Caramel malts, butterscotch, and toffee take the center stage in the aroma with a general sweetness all around.
The body is light to medium.
The taste has some of the same sweet characters of the aroma with a slight hop bite that is clean for the most part. Of the four samples I tried that day this one was my favorite.

On tap at the source as part of a sampler. Comes to the table a cloudy medium amber color with a smallish off white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is toffee and caramel with hints of chocolate and a light earthy hop. The flavor is sweet with a bready toffee base with hints of caramel and chocolate and some faint earthy hops providing some balance. Medium to light body with a light level of carbonation, and a sweet almost syrupy mouthfeel. This was the pick of the litter today as it had the least amount of off flavors. Mediocre at best but provided the greatest drinkability.

Off the tap at the brewpub this beer was a cloudy amber color with one-finger of off-white head. The retention was ok as a thin collar and the lacing spotty. The aroma was light, hints of caramel malt and floral hops was all I could get. The flavors were better defined, a good amount of wood, lots of toasted malt, roasted malt and a subtle hop profile. Acidic and a bit one-dimensional but a good session beer. The mouthfeel was a bit foamy, the body medium and the carbonation medium/high.
