relatively dark for a swiss brew, foam is not very strong and not lasting
nose: not too distinctive, dominated by macadamia nuts
palate: rather dry dark lager, taste is dominated by nuts (macadamia, cashew) with some notes of blueberries
one of the better Swiss dark lagers I had the opportunity to taste

Bough in Drinks of the World in Bern.
Pours dark brown with light brown and thick head. Lacing thick as well. Aroma is pleasant - malty and slightly fruity. Taste is good as well - first impression was roasted toffee as well as hints of nuts and dried fruit. In aftertaste sweetness dominates in very good balance with mild hops.
Good beer. I think it would be excellent if flavours were more intense.

Got a bottle from Drinks of the World in Bern.
Pours dark brown with an off-white head that leaves light lacing. This starts witha thick caramel aroma and a hint of fresh bread. The flavor is mostly sweet with with a toffee and caramel mix after the initial lighter grains. The aftertaste starts with a sugar cookie note and finishes with a mild spice hop. Overall, all these flavors are too toned-down. It's good, but the volume needs to be turned up.
