33cl best by Apr 2010. Poured into tulip.

Large tan head with medium large bubbles settles quickly. Liquid is medium brown with hints of red, very clear.

Fairly rich malty aroma. Hints of smoke and wood.

Very toasty malt flavor. There's depth to the malt flavor, with cellar or wood characteristics. A light hop bitterness builds and lingers in the finish, strong for a Breton beer but still quite light. It's very malty, maybe with a twist of lemon flavor mixed in.

Full mouthfeel, low carbonation. Very drinkable.

From a shop in Brittany France. Pours a dark cloudy brown colour with no real carbonation. The beer has a real malty aroma, the taste is all malt, with a hint of fruit. The finish is a dry malty finish. Not sure if I really like this or not, my propblem is the cloudiness of the beer.

Beer bottle (25 cl. 33 cl. and on-tap), tasted in the brewery (2008).

Appearance : red color, with tan foamy head (not persistent).
Smell : caramel aroma.
Taste and mouthfeel : caramel flavours, low bitterness slightly acrid in finish.
Drinkability : an average beer in bottle (brewing issue ?). I prefer the draught version.
