Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a hazy dark orange with a finger of head. Smells typical of a pale ale, with some light aromas of malt and citrus. Taste is nice and crisp, with a light bit of bitterness at the end. Definintely feels "light", but that's good for a session beer.
Overall, a decent beer, and works best as a session beer. I'll have to try some other Lockdown beers.

From a sampler case purchased at Costco. Poured into pint glass, and found almost no head, lacing around the circumference of the glass, like the blonde. The nose is soft and unobtrusive, malt up front, very slight hop spice. The taste is how I would describe as Sierra Nevada light, its good. Like the previous two reviewers said, this is a great session beer. Depending on availability it may be my new session beer.

I picked this up at the class six at Travis Air Force Base.
Appearance- amber color, poured pretty light head
Smell- malt, pretty light aroma
Taste- malt, some hop presence
Mouthfeel- medium bodied
Drinkability- It was pretty good. I enjoyed it. I have to agree with the review befor mine about being a pretty good session beer. I saw it for the first time today and decided to try it.

Brand new beer from a brand new brewery. Their site says this was the first bottling, 7/9/08.
Pours with three fingers of foam, it has a creamy surface texture. Color is amber, with some streams of carbonation. Little wisps of lacing around the edge of the glass. It maintains a head for the entire glass.
Malty wort smell, not sweet though. A touch herbal, with mild citrus from the Cascade hops, but it could use more aroma.
Light and toasted caramel malt flavors, nice hop presence with a bitter finish. Again, hops have more of an herbal, mildly spicy character. Medium bodied and a good session candidate. Worth a try.
