Poured a very deep almost black color, with a one finger dark head that quickly faded to a thin film. The aroma had lots of coffee, vanilla. caramel and alcohol notes. The flavor was just as the aroma, with a nice boozy kick. The mouthfeel was very thick, almost chewy. Overall , this was an outstanding RIS, the barrel aging really added a nice touch.

Batch 3, 2014 bottle. Served in a tulip between temp ranges of 40-55F.
