Guess you could call this a Colorado-style IPA if there ever was a thing. It’s made with only Colorado-grown hops from the Western Slope. It’s only sold in Colorado. And it’s the only IPA with a ski pass. So yeah, that makes Colorado Native West Slope IPA our kind of IPA.

24oz can. Bottom date stamp is 'OCT2323'.
Partly cloudy, pale amber colored body. Two fingers of statuesque white head, and this becomes a frothy cap and high ring. Leaves behind extensive lacing webs.
Aroma of honey and orange citrus.
Taste is high hopped citrus, with some juice and sweetness. Citrus pith emerges in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. A little dry and sticky. Very good carbonation.
Good IPA party beer. Does not require much attention, but delivers.

Not great by any means but I liked it more than Voodoo Ranger which says a lot to me. I won't be getting it again but maybe a smidge better than expected knowing Coors is in charge here. Overall though like I said to me it was more flavorful than the 2 New Belgium Voodoo Rangers ive had. Idk I suppose I'd give their other stuff a shot.

Poured from a 12oz can into frozen 22-oz stein, clear clean gold with a half-inch head that subsided quickly to patches still floating a half-hour later, some lacing lasting as long as well. Nice solid western USA IPA taste, although nothing bold about it -- as one might expect from "a small-batch brewery nestled within the walls of the Coors brewery in Golden, CO" [from AC Golden Brewing website]. I might buy again, but I prefer their Cerveza Nativa Mexican-style lager.

Toasty Malt focused aromas. Light hops flavor. Nice amber color. A little too malt forward for my taste; however if served in a pub with pub food - burgers, wings, etc I wouldn’t be disappointed. Not my style, but not bad

L:. Pours a dark gold orange with a medium white head and lots of thick soapy lacing around the glass.
S: Very west coast, lots of caramel malt, strong malt backbone, very herbal and floral hops. Not the most inviting IPA.
T:. Orange, some lemon, caramel malt, strong malt backbone, floral, like the taste a bit better than aroma.
F:. Carbonation is ok, medium body.
O:. Very average IPA.

pretty disappointing ipa considering is an "exclusive" to colorado, pours with a nice malty head, golden golden hazy color, mild hints of pine, resin, spices and minerals, body is thick goes down smooth leaving a bitter aftertaste and nothing special i was really looking forward to this brew but it disappointed in every aspect compared to other ipa's not to mention i got a headache shortly after the second glass, bad batch?

I signed up for this service just to rate this beer. This is the worst beer I've ever had. It's like they took PBR and steeped it in light dose of hops. I drank five and had a stomach ache. I wasn't even feeling jolly (aka drunk). Colorado Native is probably just a food company who wanted to make generic products and had some warehouse.... I live in Colorado and people here will buy something if it's branded as Colorado. So... They've found a way to capitalize on tasteless schmucks. Disgusting beer.
