I went on a Pilsner binge at GABF last night, and this was the winner, no contest. Hard to judge the head and appearance in the sampler glass, but it looked like a Pilsner. Delicious noble hop smell and flavor. Everything was right with this beer. Plus, I could drink this all day. Yeah, it's made by Coors, but the macros deserve support if they can actually put out a quality product like this.

Thanks to troy for the bottle.
Pours a clear, light yellow body, creamy, ample white head. The aroma is grassy hops and a light skunkiness. Toasted malt is light, soft, and short-lived. Hops quickly follow some fruit, but primarily hay and grass. I detect some of the skunky hop flavors I typically equate with Pilsner Urquel and other imports. The body is crisp, smooth and light in body. This is a good domestic Pilsener, but it lacks the hop character, depth, and finish that make me such a big fan of HJ's.

Another 'test' beer from ACG, poured at Falling Rock.
A dull, clear, light golden pour, would like to see it "brighter". Don't think it was served too cold. Minimal head after a quick billowing.
Soft aroma. I don't get the Nobles. Very little spice in the nose, but then again, very little malt, too. Perhaps it's too balanced? I don't really know, but the characteristics of this style are not found in the nose..much.
Taste follows the nose. Still nothing of note here. It is calmer in malt than, say, Coors banquet...for example.
Semi crisp finish. I wouldn't say dry, but not sweet. A strange brew, kinda like a good (or not bad) American adjunct.
