Poured from a 12oz can best by Dec 19 2022
On the pour a one finger fine white head formed then dissipated over a couple minutes to a ring around the glass. The body is a pale gold that is crystal clear with fine carbonation. There was an attempt at lacing.
Aroma is clean, I will give it that, but it's very light and essentially just honey sweetness, a kiss of malt, and a Metallic twinge that rounds it out. Not a lot going on, and it isn't offensive, but I want more.
Taste is very sweet with honey sweetness and a candy floral note, followed by a big grain bill and maybe some extract syrup as well. It has a bit of a "slightly higher quality than honey brown" vibe.
Feel is surprisingly full bodied and mouthcoating, but in an almost syrupy way. Not any more so than a standard coors product though, so this is still a contender for lawnmower beers.
Overall I expected a bit more from this before I realized the ABV, but it's not offensive, just a bit overpriced for what it is. At least they tried to make a helles and not just a "lager"

L: Pours a clear golden straw yellow with a foamy white head that dissipates rather quickly and leaves some thick lacing on the glass.
S: Notes of honey and toasted bread, followed by a noble but slightly skunky hop.
T: Toasted bread, some sweet honey and malt and slightly noble skunky hop.
F: Crisp and easy drinking.
O: A nice and drinkable beer, very light.

This is kind of what I expected and im sure some would say I'm still being too nice. Idk it was drinkable, didn't get much of the advertised additions, mostly just typical helles flavors but definitely on the lighter side like I would have anticipated. Definitely a better representation in its style than west slope ipa.
