A - Dark coppery amber in body, dense white head receding to a ring.

S - Caramel malt, sweet honey, citrus with a hint of tobacco, quite English pub like.

T - Again, the malt and citrus are prominent, with some spice, but all this is put in the shade by an unpleasant cigarette taste.

M - Medium to high carbonation in a dry light body.

O - Not for me thanks. I don't smoke.

Drank from my Stella tulip glass.

A - This beer pours an unfiltered copper colour with an off White head that hangs around.

S - Aromas are metalid citrus and a little sherebert.

T - Nice malts up front and a little caramel. Citrus fruity notes follow, with a bitter finish.

M - Medium body and carbonation makes for a smmoth drop.

O - I really enjoyed this beer, it has plenty on offer.

This beer came in a 500ml bottle instead of the regular 330ml stubby and it pours a burnt copper hue with average carboantion that leaves a very fast vanishing head not the greatest looking,it has a toffeeish malty smell to it,it starts off with a thin mouthfeel of toffee coated hops but the finish doesnt deliver enough bitterness for me to truly call this a solid english bitter im pretty dissapointed in this one as i remember it being alot better when i got it in the smaller bottle.

Appearance - Red, with a thin head that reduced fairly quickly.

Smell - Strong, sweet and hoppy.

Taste - Roasty malts, very well balanced with fruity and grassy hops. Plenty of flavour for 4.3% ABV.

Mouthfeel - Smooth, low carbonation.

Drinkability - Pretty sessionable.

Overall - I was a little worried after the Pilsener wasn't as good as the on-tap version, but this was not a disappointment. This is one of the best Australian made bitters.
